It runs great so far on my 16" barrel AR, mid-length gas system. Quality components, the Nib-X coating is slick and supposedly can run dry but occasionally I hand coated it with some Hoppe's just for safe measure. Easy to clean and I'll be sticking with WMD and their excellent Nib-X coating from now on.

I found that its great the only thing is that the color gets scratch and color will remove and i feel that they need to find a paint that will be able to with stand the heat because if not the pain removing will certainly bother you

I only have 100 rounds through mine, but so far so good. It is very easy to clean and feels more slippery than a normal milspec bcg. My only gripe is I was hoping the coyote brown bcg would be different than Aero's FDE to get a "50 Shades of FDE" effect, yet they match almost perfectly. Not either company's fault, obviously, but if you have an FDE Aero upper and want a slightly different color bcg, get the FDE WMD bcg.

I read the features of this and I assumed it was going to have a hard ceramic super slick finish similar to any other hard ceramic product I’ve purchased. The coated almost feels like it’s a paint of some sort, it seems like it’s “flaky” and I can already see areas where it’s chipped from handling or whatever. It doesn’t look horrible, but I wouldn’t consider this more than a cosmetic feature, not an extra enhancement. I ended up returning it as I was sent the wrong color, but overall I was slightly disappointed hence the 4 stars. Nothing physically wrong, but I would recommend the regular NIB one instead.

This Nickle boron slide is smooth, if you get some type of color one like I did(FDE), it's supposed to come one where ever it making contact. Shot 200 round 556 and no paint came off yet. I used 2 to 3 drop of lubrication for the piston rings and that was all.

Nickle boron w/ ceramic top coat BGC runs smoother and are easier to clean than the phosphate ones. Just 2 drop of oil on the gas rights and you're good to go. I took it apart before anything just to give it a wipe down that was all.
