As other buyers state, has interesting relief cuts and firing pin retaining pin appears more exposed (when compared to a milspec BCG I had it doesn’t “stick out” but the relief cuts make it seem like it does. Bought two cuz the price was so low I couldn’t pass up ($15 each?! Had to be some kind of error) and both fit well in my rifle and didn’t have any issues with either. Build seems solid and for my needs it’ll be perfect and got a backup to boot. I would say depending on price you can take it or leave it (if under $75 I’d say give it a go or grab as a last minute spare for your main BCG any more buy a toolcraft one for the few bucks more). Nitriding seems to be well done and some machining marks and staking was done adequately (seen better but also seen way worse).

As the other review mentioned, this has a strange relief cut leaving the pint retainer sort of exposed. On my example, it was poking out a bit beyond the body of the carrier and remained that way even with some force. Not confidence inspiring.I threw it into a build to offload as a complete upper and unfortunately don't know how well it holds up. Just an odd design decision I couldn't really find anywhere else.

I got this to see how it looked, for a possibility to buy more in future if deals arise. In particular, the one I got had very lightly staked gas key screws. I am picky about that, and it is pretty poorly done. Based upon this, I would not recommend. It also had a different style firing pin retaining pin slot that is not counter sunk like normal mil-spec. I didn't care for the looks of it for long term, and sent it back for refund. I don't know if they all are like this, or they are sourcing these from more than one maker.
