I currently own two AR rifles in 5.56, and wanted a backup bcg. I dropped this bcg into my carbine and it is working flawlessly. Fit and finish are good, but not excellent. Then again, this also cost me just north of $100, so I feel this product is a good value at the price point. Again, I have had no problems when using this bcg, and would recommend it to others.

I use TRYBE BCG's in several builds. All have been perfect, and the finishes enhance some of my builds cosmetically also.My current favorite is built around a Helix 6 barrel in .223 Wylde. Gorgeous polished BCG surface shines like a jewel. Love the TRYBE Eagle on the side. It's easy to clean and I take care not to rub abrasives on it so I don't rub the laser-etched eagle off. But it's black chrome and it cleans with a wipe or two. This is my most important build to date and I chose this bolt. A slow break in period for the barrel but it's been out for a handful of rounds and cleaning each time.I put a nickel boron BCG in a 5.56, love the easy cleaning. My basic builds have used mil-spec phosphate bolts, including a couple braced pistols I had to take apart this year. They're what they are supposed to be. I must confess I keep a gold-bolted .223 in the closet too. Good mil-spec bolts with functional and attractive finish options. Solid choices.

Works as it should. Product does not come oiled. Only 300 rds fired. No problems so far. Does look nice and slides in real nice. Only time will tell if the coating will hold. Will update after 1000 rds.

I used this in a rifle that was using an Franklin armory binary lower. I have fired over 1000 rounds thru the rifle using this bolt carrier group and I have not had a single function issue. If this ever comes available again, I would not hesitate to buy. I’m not the only one that sees the value and quality in this bolt carrier group because it sells out every time they come available. I’ll be buying another one for my next build.

I went with the Nickle Boron because it is designed an machined as a mil spec BCG. The standards are unique to the .223 but still works with the 5.56 as designed. Exacting standards require a close tolerance fit and the parts match for a smoother more reliable shot. Not to mention a good shot group.

This product does its job. I would not recommend this product if you're going to put 5000+ rounds through it. This is basically for those individuals who shoot a box a month. The carbon built-up is significant on the bolt. Carbon tends to cake on the neck. It's a good product if you don't shoot a lot.
