Anyone who knows us, knows our BCG’s. We test fire every unit in full auto after inspection, to guarantee our customer receives an efficient BCG they can trust for life. We HP/MPI inspect every bolt individually, upgrade the extractor spring with a Sprinco enhanced 5-coil spring, and deeply stake the gas key once it’s torqued with Grade 8 fasteners. In addition to our standard BCG’s we also offer a Chrome option, as well as special edition BCG’s assembled with O.C.K.S. fasteners in place of Grade 8. These optimized screws hold the staking on the gas key even more deeply, further minimizing the possibility of the gas key loosening. Beyond our standard caliber BCG (5.56mm/.300BLK/6mm MAX), we also offer BCG’s for .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 Grendel, and 6mmARC Specifications for Sons of Liberty Gun Works SOLGW 5.56mm/.300 AAC Blackout Bolt Carrier Group: Manufacturer: Sons of Liberty Gun Works Color: Black Fabric/Material: Steel Cartridge: 5.56x45mm NATO, .300 AAC Blackout Gun Make: AR Platform Gun Model: AR-15 Condition: New Features of Sons of Liberty Gun Works SOLGW 5.56mm/.300 AAC Blackout Bolt Carrier Group: Carpenter 158 HP/MPI bolt 8620 Carrier 4340 tool steel extractor Sprinco 5 coil spring Chrome lined carrier and gas key Phosphate finish (standard model) Full Auto Test Fired Lifetime Warrantied Package Contents: Sons of Liberty Gun Works SOLGW 5.56mm/.300 AAC Blackout Bolt Carrier Group

First off its just a millspec BCG, With that said this is the best Millspec BCG I currently own. I have plenty of other BCG's of various makes and types that all work fine but compared to this BCG you can tell they aren't on the same level. All part fitments are super tight, very little slop in anything, everything fits tight like a new BCG should. I see 0 machining mark's on the carrier or bolt, the finish is super clean, the chrome plating very well done. I have just over 300 rounds on the BCG not one issue (mostly LC/IMI M855).The one down side to having quality parts like this for me is now I want to replace parts in other rifles that don't need to be replaced yet.I am using this in a Vltor Mur1a upper with a Sons V2 CHF 14.5" 5.56, great setup.

I really like that SOLGW is more transparent than most companies but it is still hard to get direct blatant answers from lots of these assembly companies (I.E. BA makes SOLGW barrels, etc). From my best collection of speculations, I believe this is a microbest manufactured BCG. I will update this review when I have a large round count with mine, I have only recently purchased.

Great bolt carrier group. Has worked flawless in my aero m4e1 upper.

This is a follow up. After 2000 rounds through a dedicated suppressed SBR upper. No issues. No malfunctions to date. Gas rings still good. Extractor and ejector still good. I only clean it ever 400-500 rounds. I have 3 of these. All very consistent. No issues from any. SOLGW and BCM. Top of the line as far as milspec. Will keep recommending.

When it comes to Bolt Carrier Groups they are the HEART of the Rifle. It is one of the two most vital components of the entire gun. Some companies will lest every little detail while others use vague terminology and say very little. Some of the specs may seem boring to most, but what do the details of such a crucial item really say about it quality level? Sons of Liberty Gun Works is a very unique company. Their owners are openly available and active on social media to help customers out personally. They have a very loyal clientele base for numerous reason, on of which is the extreme details they list on all of the products. While the specs of a bolt carrier group may seem like a foreign language to some folks there is a good reason that the sons BCG is such a coveted item and that is because they list every single minute detail from parts, materials to assembly methods offering a level of transparency on a critical item that is rare in the gun industry. As companies will often "Hide" things from customers by failing to list crucial detail on parts and materials used along with assembly techniques. The reason this BCG stands out so much is because every little detail about it is listed in order to let customers know every minute detail so that informed consumers can make and educated decision. All of the materials used are listed down to the kind of springs used for the ejectors in an effort to show that every little detail was carefully though out in order to construct this masterpiece which aide in a level of quality control and reliability that is second to none for the AR15 platform. I have personally owned rifles from the likes of Daniel Defense, Bravo Company Manufacturing, Noveske, and Sons of Liberty Gun works. I have owned BCG's from those previously listed along with Fail Zero, Sharps Rifle Company, Rubber City Armory(Noveske Marked Black Nitride BCG) and have put numbers thousands of round through most of them. The SOLGW BCG at a glance seems fairly standard until you look at the details of the parts , material and processes used to create it. It uses a tried and true black phosphate coating not some fancy coating that is trying to cover up sub par materials. It one of the finest example of a simple tried and true BCG design that is executed to an extraordinarily high level, giving you everything you need and nothing you don't. As in my opinion this SOLGW BCG is one of the best option if you want a BCG that will withstand anything that you can throw at it in order to offer a level of reliability and performance that is second to none then this is the BCG for you. As try and remember it is NOT what a company tells you about their products that stand out the most, but its what they DON'T say that speaks volumes on why they leave out those detail and what they may be attempting to hide by with holding such information on on of the most critical components you can select for youi AR15.
