I have thousands of rounds through multiple BCG's and I've never had an issue. I wouldn't hesitate to run this BCG on any firearm I build in the future. Look at as many distributor websites as you can and look at all the reviews. The issue with optics planet is it's become so mainstream that you inexperienced buyers posting reviews of products. Take all reviews here with a grain of salt.

This is my fourth Sharps BCG. I first got one in NP3 Plus, then NiB, and this is my second in DLC.It weight slightly less than a Mil Spec BCG, but due Materials used like the S7 tool steel. It is considerably tougher than Mil Spec. The bolt works great. When they first came out several people had the NP3 bolts breaking. Sharps did a another run of them, and replaced them, but I never had any issues. I like the looks of the DLC best, but even though the NP# is no longer available I like the lubricity of it best. I run all of them with little to no lube. The bolt has a design that allows for reliable function even if your weapon is being ran dirty. It is slightly thicker in the rear to keep the carrier running flat. Built like a tank, great finish, and half an ounce lighter than mil spec.

BEST BCG OUT THERE. QUALITY MATERIALS. EXCELLENT MACHINING. DURABLE COATING. WHATS NOT TO LOVE. OVER 3K ROUND COUNT WITH ZERO CLEANING AND ZERO MALFUNCTIONS. ILL ALWAYS CHOOSE THIS BOLT CARRIER GROUP. I AM AWARE OF THE QC ISSUES IN THE PAST. BUT THAT IS FAR BEHIND THEM NOW.

This BCG is outstanding in the quality department and it looks good on top of it. I’ve put about 2k rounds with this BCG on my rifle and it’s been flawless. Might be plecebo but if feels smoother than my previous mil spec BCG
