M16 Full Auto Style for increased mass and lock time. Our BCG is precision machined from 8620 steel with a shot peened bolt manufactured from Carpenter 158 and Magnetically Particle Inspected. The entire carrier assembly is QPQ (Quench Polish Quench) Nitride coated Black, this is a specialized type of Nitrocarbrising Case Hardening that creates a vary hard, smooth surface with increased corrosion resistance and low coefficient of friction. The carriers patented and patent pending design features unique shrouded and forward facing gas ports that have also been resized so that gas is vented differently to a standard carrier. This results in a system that runs flatter with a smoother energy pulse with a softer start to carrier movement. In addition the system also runs cooler and cleaner, there is also less pressurization of the upper receiver when running a suppressed barrel. The flared boss at the tail of the carrier enhances the BCG’s lock position within the upper and makes it more consistent, resulting in an accuracy improvement. All critical dimensions are hard turned / ground after heat treat and the gas key has been hard chrome lined for the best possible wear resistance. All E-BCG’s feature the LANTAC CP-R360 patent pending domed head cam pin that is machined from 17-4PH Stainless Steel and hardened to H900 condition (45RC approx). The ultra smooth head reduces wear within the upper receiver. The BCG’s 11.7oz weight helps to increase lock time and smoother operation. Gas keys are fitted with gasket sealer & are properly staked at four points and only grade 8 fasteners are used in assembly. The E-BCG’s forward porting and unique shape assist in reducing pressurization inside the upper receiver that can be caused by short barrel rifles running suppressors. However, it should be noted that the E-BCG is not a complete solution for this issue and all rifles are different. ‘Over Gassed’ guns will suffer to a larger extent from this problem. Bought a trio of these to try in my various rifles. They work wonderfully on my SBR with a 10.5 and adjustable gas block, both suppressed and unsuppressed, as well as on the 10.3 in 300 blackout that mostly runs suppressed. It does not work at all on my 18 with rifle length gas – even with the gas block fully open it was not getting enough gas to lock back properly on last shot. So, as the description says, works great for a lot of rifles but not all of them. If you are running a longer gas system, be prepared to switch to a non-vented carrier unless you are also running suppressed.

Waited several months for this to arrive, but thought it'd be worth the wait. The carrier appears top notch in fit and finish and am quite pleased. The bolt itself is still magnetized from inspection and missed the demagnetizing step. I had it disassembled and noticed the tip of the firing pin stuck to it when I picked the bolt up and could lift the firing pin up at an angle from the table it was resting on. Not the end of the world, but… The firing pin itself has a very rough surface finish and looked like it was time for a tool change, as does the shaft of the cam pin, though not nearly as bad as the firing pin. I tried contacting Lantac, but have had no response to date. It would be a great piece if not for for these small issues, but for the price, expected the highest of quality/quality control in all components, no matter how long the wait.I will update this review if I get a response from Lantac.

I finally got some range time in with my enhanced lancer bolt carrier group and all I have to say is how amazing it is and the way more gas comes out from the bcg and function of this product is top of the line. Would always recommend this everytime

I love this Bolt Carrier Group. The black nitride is excellent, and the domed cam pin is really nice. It is very well machined, and it just looks fantastic. It vents a little more gas out the ejection port than a standard BCG, which helps in my slightly over-gassed upper. I waited a long time to find my perfect BCG, and this is it.

Everyone saying it didn’t work for them on an 18 inch upper or something like that isn’t the bolt carrier that’s the issue, if it works flawlessly on a 10.5 upper abs not an 18 it’s because you need to switch out your buffer and spring. The bolt carrier group is incredible, you just have to know how your rifle operates and it seems so many have no idea the complete function. I wish people had understanding before leaving reviews, especially if for them it doesn’t work right because other components weren’t swapped out to match what’s needed for the upgrade. Other than maybe a QC defect that slipped through, this bolt carrier is an excellent upgrade and will never fail you. It will also save wear and tear on other parts of your rifle. I’d trust my life with this BCG as I’ve been using them for many years!

I have run many BCGs and Lantacs is easily one of the best you can buy. I have put 4000+ rounds on mine and just with simple upkeep it runs flawlessly. Shows very minimal sighns of wear and tear. It really is worth the price.
