Good BCG, good smooth finish that is easy to clean. Upon cleaning it tonight for the first time. I realized I’m going to have to buy a new firing pin retainer due to it being spread open wider than a CrackWh0r3 at a 50 cent Donkeyshow! Geez guys. That thing doesn’t need to look like a “Y”!!! Anyways, BCG is smooth and functions well. I have bought many parts from faxon and they always perform well.

I'll second the previous reviewers sentient that th staking is a bit lack luster, but overall it's a decent BCG for the price. Coating is flawless, it's a little heavier than my current mil-spec BCG but functions flawlessly.

Send this back soon. Fails to extract 100% of the time. Running this with my fortis billet upper and ballistic advantage barrel. Pretty annoyed, the hassle of trying to get products to ship from this site is already enough.

Bolt had a small blem at the cam pin hole which caused a questionable grove on the cam pin after one day at the range. I emailed Faxon and they sent a replacement right away. Gave this item 5 stars as their customer service at Faxon was great and very helpful. I took the rifle to the range once again, the cam pin did groove but not as deep as the first time and was expected as the material is softer from the rest of the group to protect the carrier. I've now shot about 500 rounds and haven't had one single issue. The entire group has a nice finish, very smooth.

I purchased a faxon bcg to run with a 14.5 gunner barrel for a current build. I've run faxon barrels and bolts previously and always with satisfaction. The price was good and the quality is consistent as expected.
