Works great with Aero upper receiver. Seems people have Cycling problems with 308 hodgepodge builds. Avoid this by Sticking to one manufacturer. The First operation of 20 lake city rounds cycled flawlessly during slow to fast operation

I had originally purchased a different BCG from optics planet that was supposed to work with my AR-10 DPMS version 1 build. With that one it wouldn't cycle or load a round properly. I called optics planet and changed it to this one. It cycles like a champ. No issues at all with it.

I thought it would float, turns out it’s pretty heavy and does not float, otherwise I think it would have worked really great. Aero Precision is a great choice for quality products. All the parts they sell make great Christmas presents for anyone that wants to support such things as the “2nd” amendment

Was doing research between Black Nitrite and Black Phosphate. The Black Nitride is more expensive but it's longer lasting and less cleaning needed. The positives out weighed the extra cost, so I ended up getting the Black Nitride. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!

Originally when I built my 6.5 Creedmoor I utilized the nickel boron BCG because I like shiny things lol, however after consulting with a very helpful rep from Aero, he advised me to utilize the nitride BCG as it was specially made for the 6.5 and would last longer due to it being a high pressure BCG. Fired about 50 rounds through it and she’s cycled flawlessly. The verbiage added to this BCG versus the nickel boron is High pressure bolt – external surfaces are CNC ground after heat treat for a precision fit and firing pin hole diameter is reduced to .070".
