The other reviews are spot on, don’t need more from me.However, the OP description lists color as silver/chrome. Only the extractor and cam pin are silver color, and only the extractor is visible on an open bolt. The Nanoweapon coating is Chrome-nitride, which has a glossy black color. Looks great and low COF.NOT silver like Boron Nitride, which is also an excellent finish for a BCG.

I have had great results with this product. Very slick finish that is wearing well. No complaints or issues. Highly recommend

After further consideration, I'd say this one is dedinitely worth it if you understand what you're getting and you have the cash to spend.Pros – In spec, super slick, properly staked, wonder metals, full massCons – ExpensiveThis has seen like in four different barrels stainless steel, CHF, hand lapped, 5.56 and .223 Wylde. All fired without a hitch. Unfortunately, all of these barrels claim to be properly gassed, so no real way to say how much of a beating they can take from round to round, except. The Super Duty products feature this BCG as well and I would say that they seems over gassed as in over gassed, maybe it's due to the lubricity of this bolt. You can run an H3 with the Super 42 Spring in an 11.5 without a can and get more than positive ejection. In a 16 inch they clean up nice and easy. In an 11.5, they seem like any other non phosphate BCG.So, why is it worth it? Well, you'll have to take Gs word for it that all of these wonder metals are what they say they are. If so, they'll last as long as G says they will. It's definitely as smooth and non abrasive as they say they are. So, you would be getting a super slick, super hi-tek wonder BCG that will probably outlast you. If that's important to you. This is worth it. If not, and a nitride BCG is good enough, then it's not worth it, not even close. In my experience, albeit, limited, I can't say I've noticed a meaningful difference between this and and a nitride BCG. I actually think the nitride might be a little more consistently smooth. You can't go wrong with this, but I'd you're a high volume shooter, then yeah maybe, but at full price you can get like three solid BCGs. This does not appear to be enhanced in any way that makes suppressed shooting any better like a Lantac. So thats unfortunate.

This is a sweet BCG, its not quite as slick as whatever POF uses on the full NP3 bcgs they have, but its slick. I can barely hear it in my well used lower. Other than that, i havent had enough rkunds throughit to know more. I can say that it appears to have a standard profile and they money appears to be spent on the coatings and the Geissele name, i certainly wouldnt pay 365 or whatever they are asking for on other websites. There are other bcgs that talk longevity in terms of numbers for parts and cost far less. Yes, this one was completely reliable, but so have all of my other BCGs. I got this on sale prjor to the pandemic, but sfill cant justify the price, if youve got money to blow on a fancy bcg, go for it. Otherwise, its a pass.

There are a few premium bcg on the market that match up to this one. But as you’d expect, Geissele quality is surpassed by none. You’ll pay a lot for this bcg, ~$400, but in my opinion, if its in your budget this is the one to get. Their proprietary coating is very durable and its dry lubricity is outstanding. The lab work that went into this coating is beyond my pay-grade but it simply works, every time you squeeze the trigger. Paired with the Geissele h2 buffer and spring, Geissele buffer tube, POF dictator adjustable gas block, (separate review) my pistol length gas system 300 blk, 10.5” built on an M&M lower and a Wilson Combat mil-spec upper runs like a sewing machine. Shooting suppressed is dirty. Really dirty. Even with a tuned adjustable gas block there is significantly more carbon reaching the bcg, trigger, magazine. Even so, the carbon on my bcg wipes of quite easily even after running through 10 or more magazines. For what its worth I am glad I splurged on this bcg. The mil-spec standard bolt that I was running before getting this bcg was leaving some precariously deep lacerations on some of my cases. Not over-gassed marks on the rim, deep scratches. And as we reload, the more life out of the cases we can get the better. This bolt is much easier on them. I’ll likely get another one for my dedicated 556. After I save a while. Maybe the price comes down a little by the time I get around to it.

Very little finish wear after 1k rounds. I have found it easy to clean and needs light lubrication. I would buy again.
